June 11, 1999: emigrated to the USA, not the best thing to happen to me
June 9, 2006: graduated from Bexley High School: hell is over
September 20, 2006-presnt: The Ohio State University: re-awakening, emerging from 8-year slumber,
starting life anew, "New Rita" (not yet sure how "new")

I am interested the Romantic period in Literature (1800s), I also like Victorian novels, my favourite book is "This Side of Paradise," and I love Byron's poetry.
This type of literature, coupled with "Ivanhoe" (read at the tender age of 10), and other works of the "unrealistic" variety have left me...well, shall we say, with "unrealistic" expectations...
but, its all good, not willing to change at the moment :)
oh, yeah, watching "Amelie" did not help either...no wonder its my favourite movie at the moment
I like art, I draw and paint some (sometimes), I enjoy visiting galleries and museums, I like discussing art, I might have the mindset of the artist, but no willpower to actually start doing much of anything (this is sad, I'll change)
'La dolce far niente.' The Italians got it all right- 'The sweetness of doing nothing.' I feel like I should live in sunny Italy, taking an occasional siesta, sipping cappuccino, and 'making a good impression' for a profession ('fare la bella figura').
Che cerca trova.= He who shall seek will find. :: Maybe I just don't feel like looking...
...hmm...uhh...mmmm...
Anyways, hard to say anything logical for this section at the moment.
